Position : Contingent Maintenance Worker

Location : Saint Louis, MO

Duration : 3 Months Contract

Shift timings : 1st shift [Mon. Thurs. 6AM - 4:30PM with OT as needed ]

Total Hours/week : 40.00

Description:

• Support production of V. Mueller and Snowden Pencer product lines and equipment/facility
• Repair and maintain a variety of production and building equipment including mechanical systems. Disassemble, select repair procedure, order parts as needed and repair or replace worn or defective parts using hand and power tools
• Performs preventative maintenance operations including safety and environmental systems as prescribed by system
• Perform routine carpentry and related work involved in maintaining the facility
• Operates within and adheres to general plant rules and policies governing workplace performance and Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Performance of operations which require finite motor skills and manual dexterity.
• Movement of items weighing up to 50 pounds from one area to another.
• Posture is primarily standing/walking with bending and limited sitting and twisting.
• Visual acuity to detect subtle visual non-conformities.
• Install new facility LED lightening from man lift 23’ up in air
• Clean facility equipment, wipe down
• Clean facility overhead walls, utilities including air lines, electrical, and duct work
• Organize maintenance mezzanine and department, dispose of obsolete materials, label needed supplies to quickly locate
• Demo old equipment that is duplicated with new system and relocate bulk oil storage equipment to new location
