TOP 3 must haves:

- 2 years’ experience with prepping bloods samples for academic experiments or clinical diagnostics
- 2 years’ experience with immunology-related techniques (flow cytometry, molecular assays, ELISA, antibody production)
- Experience writing protocols and reports

Job description:
Client Biosciences is seeking a flow cytometrist who is excited to apply their flow application experience to the development and testing of flow cytometry sample prep systems. No experience with validation testing or product development needed.

Play a critical role on cross-functional product development teams by representing the customer experience. Test the designs of systems by running representative assay and samples. Document system defects, analyze test data, and identify potential system problems. Assist with usability testing to ensure our products are easy to use and meet user needs. This role will be working on flow cytometer sample preppers.

Primary duties include:
• Assist with protocol development, conduct and record testing, and assist with data analysis, writing reports, and reviews on product designs
• Be the voice of the customer by elevating user needs and identifying product quality issues
• Exercise independent judgment and apply solution thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting
• Conduct representative sample prep and flow cytometry experiments to test products
• Escalate instrument problems using data-driven summaries

Minimum Qualifications:
• B.S. in Immunology, Cell Biology, or related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years' experience operating research or diagnostic systems related to immunology in academic research, pharma industry, contract research organizations, hospital or reference laboratory, or other relevant industry
• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting and maintaining immunology lab equipment
• Ability to prepare and process biological samples in a wet-lab Biosafety Level 2 Laboratory
• Ability to follow loosely-defined protocols with minimal guidance, using laboratory best practices
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with others in a multi-disciplinary team
• Should be self-directed with effective time management skills
• Excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and Windows OS

Desired Qualifications:
• MS degree in Immunology, Cell Biology or in a related discipline
• Experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining flow cytometers
• Experience in a core/shared lab facility or diagnostic reference laboratory
