Job Summary

This role provides fleet maintenance support by routinely cleaning the exterior and interior of vehicles issued by Field Support Services (FSS). Keeping the vehicles clean and well maintained protects the State Police's investment in its fleet.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Hand-wash the exterior of all FSS pool cars as needed, and at least twice a month
• Clean the interior of all FSS pool cars at least once a month
• Hand-wax all FSS pool cars every quarter
• Hand-wash dirt and grime from new or re-issued cars that have been sitting on the lot for an extended time
• Assist FSS Installation in preparing new and re-issued commissions for issuance

Experience

• Ability to follow a recurring cleaning schedule (twice monthly, monthly, and quarterly tasks)
• Teamwork with FSS Installation staff

Key Skills

• Vehicle washing, waxing, and detailing (exterior and interior)
• Attention to detail

Eligibility and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Valid Indiana driver's license
