Incident Response Analyst 
Franklin Lakes, NJ

1 Year Contract

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Weekly 40 hours[Mon-Fri]

 

Qualifications:
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree

• Out of the box thinker with proven problem solving skills

• 5 or more years of IT experience, preferably with security and incident response duties.

• Background and knowledge incident response procedures

• Knowledge of various operating systems such as Windows, Linux, Apple, etc.

• Ability to write scripts/code using Python, Perl, PowerShell or other scripting languages

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills

• Organizational and time management skills a must.

• Demonstrated understanding and experience with current Incident Response best practices

• Deep knowledge of security issues across multiple technology platforms.

• Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of applications, network, infrastructure, and data security architecture.

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree

• Industry certifications

Responsibilities:

§ Tactical IT Security Incident Response efforts across the organization.

§ Create, document and follow detailed operational processes and procedures to appropriately analyze, escalate, and assist in remediation of all information security incidents.

§ Research emerging threats and incorporate into the incident response program

§ Monitor and analyze security events and identify trends, attacks, and potential threats.

§ Interface effectively in key relationships such as Security Operations, IT Operations, and Enterprise Architecture and be able to partner with Legal and HR as necessary

§ Help improve the IT Security Computer Security Incident Response Plan. Industry certifications

§ Maintain familiarity with current and emerging information security vulnerabilities, threats, and exploits.
