3 ‘must have’ requirements:
- Practical use with Microsoft Excel (must be able to competently use MS Excel for managing spreadsheets)
- Detail oriented: accuracy of work is essential
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Data entry experience is a plus
Job Description:
- This position reports to an Engineer in the Field Assurance Department.
- This department is responsible for fielding of customer complaints about products.
- The complaints may come from patients, health care providers including physicians, nurses, or other health care staff.
- This department investigates the root cause of failure from an engineering perspective.
- This position will be responsible for helping to process customer complaints, aiding in the investigation of root cause analysis, and will assist with engineering activities including decontamination/processing of returned medical devices, collect data, analyze data and prepare reports, and processing of customer complaints.
- This position will process customer complaint data and create and update Excel reporting of customer complaint data.
- Emphasis will be placed on accuracy and timeliness of data entry and processing
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two to four (2-4) years’ experiences in a related area or equivalency.
- Demonstrated human relations and communication skills.
- Working competence in Word Processing, Excel spreadsheets, presentation, and other software programs along with good letter composition skills.
Must have:
- Ability to learn new databases with guided training.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite and general computer skills.
- Grammar, writing and editing skills and proofreading competency.
- Excellent organizational and functional skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality about information received in the course of duties in compliance with HIPPA regulations.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to handle a large volume of work in an organized manner.
- Functions well under pressure.
