Description:

  • Small part assembly, use of a higher powered microscope, tweezers. Candidates with sewing exp, workng with small delicate parts are ideal candidates.

 

Summary of Position with General Responsibilities

  • Perform various processes for PTFE manufacturing which is primarily done in a clean room environment. This requires following the SOPs and GMPs.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Accurately complete Device History Records and associated paperwork
  • Assist with projects and qualifications concerning the process when needed
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers
  • Enter batch information into database
  • Utilize small hand tools and/or precision devices to aid in the manufacturing process
  • Perform inspection of own work of prior manufacturing operations

 

Basic Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required, Small part Assembly, use of tweezers. Full suit, clean room regulated controlled temperature environment.
  • May be use small blades. Protection, PPE and training provided.
  • Must have good communication skills

 

 

 

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and office equipment.
  • The employee frequently is required to talk and hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch.
  • Performs any combination of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices as well as setting up, operating, performing maintenance on and troubleshooting equipment.
  • May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
  • Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
