Job Description:

  • Responsible for bringing kitted material to machines for the next job
  • Responsible to verify part numbers and quantities against packing list
  • Responsible to deliver material to the machine area as requested
  • Responsible to deliver correct lot to each machine
  • Must put extra attention to job numbers
  • Must be available to work overtime as required
  • Must be able to assist in other areas as required
  • Must be able to assist in other responsibilities as required
  • Ability to work independently as required
  • May receive general supervision with little instruction on routine work. Is knowledgeable of receiving and/or distribution function.
  • Effectively works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.
  • Make effective decisions relative to production requirements
  • Follow GMPs procedures.
  • Perform area safety inspections to identify safety hazards and report findings in accordance with company protocols.
  • Performs all duties with attention to quality, safety, and environmental matter such as wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, identifying, reporting, and appropriately responding to hazards in the work area (spills/accidents/near misses),
  • Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines including FDA, ISO, and OSHA.
  • Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.
  • Assume responsibility for the environmental effects of work performed and for the identification and recording of environmental problems as they arise.
  • Follow all applicable aspects of the site Environmental Management System as it pertains to normal job duties.
  • Complete all regulatory training as assigned (GPM, s, ISO14001, OSHA, etc.).
  • Be available for other projects or assignments as requested by management.
  • Looking for ways to simplify or improve services, systems, and processes to achieve Qualifications Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills required.
  • Ability to safely operate pallet jack (Electric Pallet Jack is a plus) Must be able to pay continuous attention to detailed operations.
  • High School Diploma / GED or 4 months of material handler experience
