Job Description:
Summary of job functions:
- Responsible for the implementing of quality inspection plans for in-process production and final release.
- Responsible for the timely closure of Device History Records for in-process Finished Goods – including assistance with the investigation and closure of Non-Conforming Material Reports at the Interventional Specialties Manufacturing facility, Mannford, OK.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Is responsible for the scheduling and implementation of quality inspection plans for in-process production and final release.
- Performs final DHR release for in-process finished goods.
- Provides supplemental quality support to on-going projects and technical service requests.
- Assists with the investigation and closure of applicable Non-Conforming Material Reports.
- Works with management to enhance the quality system with the Mannford facility.
- Provides proactive feedback to Manufacturing and Material personnel on quality issues.
- Applies analytical and problem solving techniques in the normal course of daily activities.
- Knowledge of FDA, ISO, EN, QSR (GMP’s), GLP and other regulatory requirements related to the manufacture of medical devices.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques as related to sampling.
- Other duties as assigned by the Quality Lead or Production Quality Engineer
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED with minimum of 2 years’ experience in the quality system of the Mannford facility (or equivalency).
- Must have good communication skills and be able to explain and demonstrate technical methodologies to all levels of the organization.
- Must be highly motivated and be able to multi-task and prioritize on a daily basis.
- Must be able to lead applicable Production personnel by example.
