CANDIDATE MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK ON WEEKENDS, if requested by the hiring manager due to business needs. No exceptions.
JOB DESCRIPTION
THIS IS A CLIMATE CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT.
Steel toes shoes or composite shoes are required for this job assignment.
Candidates with previous inventory clerk experience in a manufacturing work environment will have first preference.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) required.
- Strong math skills required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Forklift Experience Required-minimum 6 months previous experience.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Ability to read/write English language documentation required.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes preferred.

Job Summary
- The Inventory Control Clerk will be responsible for inventory related functions in order to keep accurate records of raw materials and finished goods.
- The position will support the Manufacturing and Quality departments by maintaining accurate records of all transactions involving raw material and finished good movements.
- The position will also be responsible for conducting periodic cycle counts to ensure the integrity of the system.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing material transactions including receiving, shipping, transferring, and counting of raw materials and finished goods. This includes generating reports from the ERP system as needed.
- Responsible for reconciling any discrepancies between the perpetual inventory records and actual physical count of materials.
- Conduct periodic cycle counts as directed by management to insure the integrity of the system.
- Assist in investigating any anomalies found during the course of daily activities or cycle counts.
- Coordinate the destruction of obsolete, excess, or otherwise unusable materials as directed by management.
- Other duties as assigned.
