Job Description:
- We are seeking a proactive and experienced Product Manager to join our Software Technology Solutions R&D team.
- In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for driving and leading the long-term product vision, strategy, roadmap, and solution definition for our could base Device Management and Over the Air update product.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams, aligning features with measurable outcomes that bring value to our customers.
- Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams to understand clinical, legal, regulatory, and customer support requirements, ensuring product readiness and implementing a plan for regular releases.
- This is an ideal role for a technical product manager or software engineer with a background in Device lifecycle, IoT, data analytics, and software as a service experience who is familiar with utilizing APIs to provision, configure, operate, integrate, and expand the product.
- The successful candidate will be looked to by the team as the product’s subject matter expert, possessing both a solid command of the technology solution and architecture, and a detailed understanding of the business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Vision & Leadership: Provide strategic vision and direction to the product owner and scrum team throughout the product lifecycle.
- Requirements Definition & Analysis: Develop crisp product and feature scope documents that can be used to drive product specifications and architecture, ensuring a clear understanding of product objectives and priorities for the product owner and development team.
- Backlog Management: Work with the product owner to prepare and prioritize the product backlog to ensure efficient workflow and alignment with the product vision and business value.
- Stakeholder Communication: Keep clients and collaborators informed on product status and lead product release plans, setting expectations for new functionalities.
- Strategic Planning: Research market trends, user needs, and competitors to inform product requirements; define and drive business strategies based on comprehensive analysis.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside hardware and software teams, manage customer experience trade-offs, and proactively resolve issues to deliver quality products on time.
