Job Summary
Assembler I role in Durham, NC, performing entry-level assembly tasks- building subassemblies and integrating mechanical and electrical components into finished products. Day shift (6:00 AM- 2:30 PM, Mon- Fri) with flexibility for overtime as needed.
Roles and Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical and electrical subassemblies using hand and power tools per work instructions and SOPs

Integrate components into larger assemblies, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and functionality

Follow detailed assembly drawings, diagrams, and written instructions

Perform basic in-process inspections to verify quality and identify defects
-
Support testing and basic troubleshooting of assemblies as needed

Maintain a clean, organized work area per 5S standards

Accurately complete production documentation and track work performed

Communicate issues, material shortages, or defects to Team Lead/Supervisor promptly

Participate in continuous improvement efforts and team-based problem solving

Rotate between workstations and tasks based on production needs
Experience

0- 1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
