Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Responsible for production floor cleaning duties
  • Use dust mop to clean production floor.
  • Mop production floor with approved chemicals per procedure.
  • Buff production floors as needed.
  • Clean doors, windows, plastic curtains, fire extinguishers, desk areas, chairs, copy machines, vacuum cleaners from production floor.
  • Empty trash cans from assembly and packaging areas as needed.
  • Clean main transition room daily with approved chemicals.
  • Clean cubby holes, mirrors, doors and windows from the main transition room.
  • Empty trash cans from main transition room as needed.
  • Change sticky mats as needed.
  • Clean material transition rooms daily.
  • Clean windows and plastic curtains from the transition room.
  • Clean and organize mop closet as needed.
  • Wash mop buckets as needed.
  • Change dust mops and mop head per procedure
  • Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines including FDA, ISO, and OSHA. Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.
  • Complete all regulatory training as assigned (GPM, s, ISO14001, OSHA, etc.).
  • Complete Operator Training Program according to established guidelines.
  • Be available for other projects or assignments as requested by management.
  • Makes a positive contribution through demonstration of ability to seek out assistance from co-workers as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • General education High School or GED Not required, 6 months of work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Work experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or industry that complies with GMP is highly preferred.
  • Ability to communicate and effectively work as part of a team is required.
