Position : Associate Scientist / Chemist 

Location : Sparks, MD

Duration : 6 months Contract

Start Time : 08:00 AM

End Time : 05:00 PM

Total Hours/week : 42.50( Mon- Fri)

Qualifications:

• Associate Scientist is responsible for sample management. Sample management includes logging the sample in and out of the database, ensuring the paperwork is complete and accurate, storing the samples based upon their proper storage conditions.
• The associate will be responsible for logging in reagents that will be used for analysis and logging out expired or consumed reagents.
• In addition, the associate will be responsible for wet chemistry bench top testing, loss on drying moisture analysis, and ash.

Responsibilities:

• This is an entry level position.
• Candidate must be highly organized, possess superior multitasking skills, be detailed oriented, and able to work in a high stress environment with constant deadlines.
• It is also required that the candidate has wet chemistry experience.
