Job Description:

  • This position will be responsible for supporting the Global Sustainability and Global Operations Finance Business Partners.

 

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Fosters clear fact-based two-way communication with functional business partners
  • Supports all planning and budgeting effort for the assigned Global Functions
  • Maintains financial planning models and develops/monitors forecasts
  • Supports performance management analysis and develops commentary
  • Prepares monthly journal entries for month end close process (including
  • intercompany charge outs)
  • Prepares ad hoc analysis for Operations Finance Leadership and Business Partners on an as-needed basis

 

Required Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent field
  • Relevant finance or accounting experience with a focus on planning, budgeting, financial analysis, month end close, and reporting required.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office (Excel – including v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
  • BPC and SAP experience preferred

 

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills for creating insightful and actionable reporting and analysis
  • Ability to go beyond the numbers, discern trends, determine the root cause of variances, and consider the broad business implications in helping identify opportunities and improve performance
  • Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures – GAAP/IFRS
  • Strong ability to communicate well with all levels of management; must be effective in converting data into useful information and communicating that information through concise commentary
  • Experience developing and implementing multi-segment business plans
  • Experience with month end close relating to journal entries and intercompany
