Shift schedule - 3 x 12 (Mon-Wed 12-hours (7am-730pm), with every other Thur 8-hours (7am-3:30pm)

 

Job Description:

  • Is skilled in an operational process area. May still be expanding skills and techniques in one skill area.
  • Applies knowledge and skills to complete assigned tasks within own area.
  • Works within established SOPs and adheres to quality guidelines.
  • Works with a moderate degree of supervision and has minimal discretion.
  • Performs basic operational tasks with some degree of supervision.
  • Responsibilities include packaging kits, cleaning functions, conducting simple in-process quality checks, and completing routine paperwork.
  • Handles basic machine operations, such as pulling raw materials, feeding materials into production lines, and clearing common machine faults.
  • Involvement in set-up, start-up, shut-down, and adjustments of machines.
  • Provides some input on Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) with some supervision.
  • Adheres to housekeeping and safety policies.
  • Demonstrates greater independence and technical knowledge.
  • Performs more advanced tasks, such as clearing most common machine faults, completing majority of set-up, start-up, and shut-down operations, and conducting controls and adjustments for machines.
  • Provides substantial input on Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Manages operational metrics (output and scrap), striving for improvement.
  • Utilizes SAP for inventory tracking and production management.
  • Works with MES (Manufacturing Execution System) to support production workflows.
  • Takes responsibility for inventory management, ensuring raw materials and finished goods are properly handled.
  • Adheres to GMP independently and follows housekeeping and safety procedures.

 

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma.

• Experience: At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and perform repetitive motions

 

Skills:

  • Advanced teamwork and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail for semi-routine assignments.
  • Familiarity with operational metrics (output, scrap).
  • Proficiency with SAP and MES.
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance tasks.
