Job Summary
CT Technologist needed within the CT Scanner department to capture diagnostic images using computerized tomography equipment. 

Roles & Responsibilities

• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
• Position patients appropriately to scan specific body areas
• Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong X-ray tube life
• Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety
• Correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues
• Evaluate CT scans to determine technical quality
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as needed
