Job Description:
- Lead and support initiatives aimed at improving the design and develop process.
- Lead and support sustaining R&D engineering projects.
- This position will be responsible for the verification and validation of systems and sub-systems ensuring a detailed and well-tested design.
- Responsibilities include defining, clarifying, and documenting requirements; performing the necessary analysis and cross-functional collaboration; recognizing when interface impacts might occur and taking early action to avoid problems.
- Utilizes quantitative approaches to design activities, to system and technology integration, strong capabilities and experience in systems engineering and processes, and diversified interdisciplinary experience and knowledge.
- This position will be part of cross-functional teams, develop and manage requirements, implement solutions in hardware and software, perform experiments, analyze data, and ensure robust verification and validation testing.
- B.S in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Physics, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Master's or PhD is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- Preferred experience in requirements management and traceability.
- Design for Six Sigma. Exposure to Human factors engineering (preferably in the medical space) including user studies and usability documentation.
- Expertise in root cause investigation.
- Proficiency in writing product requirements, specifications, test protocols, and test reports.
- Working knowledge of international standards applicable to medical devices.
